Hailey Clark

Hailey brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the My Dragonfly Gardens team. With an associate degree in Plant Science from Valencia College and years of hands-on experience, she combines academic knowledge with a deep-rooted passion for Florida’s unique plant life.

Background

As Field Supervisor for both native and edible maintenance, Hailey brings a high level of professionalism and plant knowledge to every garden she manages. Her experience as Lead Horticulturist at Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay—where she maintained large-scale tropical landscapes and oversaw complex horticultural installations—adds a layer of brand-caliber quality to her work at MDG.

She has developed a deep understanding of Florida’s native species, their seasonal patterns, and what it takes for them to thrive naturally. With a keen eye for design and ecology, Hailey also specializes in butterfly gardens and the strategic use of host plants to support pollinators and biodiversity. Every space she touches reflects her commitment to beauty, balance, and ecological health.

Fun Fact

Springs, butterflies, and air plants!

Born and raised in Florida, Hailey has always been inspired by the state’s natural beauty and rich ecological diversity. Her journey into horticulture began in 2017 at a local garden center, where she dove headfirst into learning about Florida’s native landscapes. That spark of curiosity soon blossomed into a fulfilling career—including her role as Lead Horticulturist at Universal Orlando, where she refined her expertise in plant care, design, and large-scale landscape maintenance.

“As a gardener with Dragonfly Gardens, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and helping others appreciate and cultivate the beauty of Florida’s native ecosystems.”
