At My Dragonfly Gardens, we are passionate about the creation of natural habitats using Florida native plants in residential settings. Florida-friendly plants are also added to designs to add more colors, food sources, and styles for our clients. In addition to landscape/habitat design, we do installations, maintenance, and permaculture. Our work is intended to be in complete harmony with nature and our clients.

We are looking to hire a part-time, personable, trustworthy gardener to take care of some of our important accounts. The ideal Gardener will naturally engage with our six core values: social responsibility, sustainability, environment friendly, harmony, wildlife, and education.

Able to work with phone applications and own a smartphone with operating systems compatible with our work applications (Android 5 or later and iPhones running iOS 10.0 or later) and GPS service.
Experienced in gardening with Florida native plants and able to identify less undesirable plant material (a/k/a weeds)
Experienced in garden maintenance activities such as weeding properly, deadheading, and cutting back. Other tasks that may include pruning, shaping, mulching and putting up are desirable, yet not required.
She/he must be tidy!
-Good listener and able to follow instructions accurately
-Able to write reports while on the job on smartphone or company iPad
-Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs., bend and move about freely and work outside in the Florida summer heat
-Must be available to work 15 to 20 hours per week during the non-growing season and 20 to 25 hours growing season.
-Applicants must have reliable transportation with a valid clean driving license
-Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA
-Applicant must be able to work on his/her feet for long periods
-Must be a team player, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
-All positions require a background check
-Able to work efficiently and effectively with little or no supervision is preferred
-Able to effectively communicate with clients professionally
Starting pay depends on experience and credentials and is highly competitive, with commission, bonuses and other perks, including fuel allowance.
